Description: Farms
are a common site on any rural and sometimes suburban model rail-roads.
The type of farm and how it is displayed can set the scene just as a
steel mill or a coal mine can. I model the area around York Pa and I
needed to develop the farms on my model railroad to reflect the ones in
that area. I will show examples of farms and farm buildings both real
and modeled and build a small diorama of a scene to show an example of
how I did it.
